The band has recorded 3 new songs over the weekend to be included on their forthcoming CD "Pay It In Blood". Recorded with Jim Foster and Anthony Lewis at White Sight & Sound recording went very quickly and efficiently with great results. The 1st 3 tracks from the forthcoming CD are titled "I Defy", "The Gladiator" & "Born Evil". We will be posting advance tracks on our MySpace page.

On Saturday November 14, Skull Hammer shot the footage for their new video "Demons Roulette" in their Framingham practice space with director Anthony "Antman" Lewis. The shoot went extremely well and carried late into the early AM. Our biggest thanks go out to our friends model/actress Lorrayne, Lauren, Jayme & Kara for being a part of this event, and taking part in our poker game. Everyone please give a warm welcome to bassist Glenn Reed who recently joined the band and played a great set last night at Sammy's in Revere. Glenn is an experienced player who you may know from the local metal band Beware The Ides.
We are looking forward to working together on the bands next video (Demons Roulette) and the 1st full-length CD to come next year.

It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome Dan Kowal into the band as the new drummer for Skull Hammer ! We played our 1st show with Dan last Saturday at the Vernon Hotel in Worcester where Dan played 3 sets with 3 different bands over the night! It was a great show. Thanks to Gas Attack, Jagged Star and Leech Eater. Geoff Pennington is no longer a member of Skull Hammer, but we all wish him the best.

Over the coming weeks, Skull Hammer will be shooting their 2nd video "Demons Roulette" as well as doing new band photo sessions. We will post the new Skull Hammer line-up photos as soon as their available.

Massive thanks to Michael Kohsiek from Rock Hard magazine (Germany) for his review of our CD "Fear the Truth". The April '09 issue of Rock Hard #263 features a nice review giving our CD 8 out of 10 stars. I would include a transcript here,except it is in German and we haven't had it translated yet. - Check back in a little while and hopefully we will have the full transcript up soon.

Skull Hammer has just signed with British indy label Deka Records. They will be promoting and distributing our 1st CD EP "Fear the Truth" as well as our 1st full-length CD which we will begin recording soon. Huge thanks to Joe and everyone at Deka Records. We hope to plan a tour this coming Spring and bring the metal right to your front door! Crack a cold one everybody!
